Privacy
The recorder has no media-upload endpoint and does not request an account. Media stays in browser capture/encoding and the folder you explicitly choose. Hosting still receives ordinary page and asset requests; local recording does not make browsing anonymous.
Responsible use
- Grant only the screen or window you intend to record. Close private notifications and obtain any required consent from other participants.
- Choose a trusted folder. Be aware that your own OS backup or folder-sync software can upload files independently of this app.
- After recording, stop sharing and control the file permissions yourself. Clearing site data removes local preferences and metadata but does not delete saved media.
No endurance or recovery guarantee
The app cannot prevent malware, browser extensions, other local users or an insecure storage device from reading your files. Do not place confidential material in public folders. Hosting access-log retention and jurisdiction require operator confirmation before a public launch.
